About

I worked in investment, energy and climate industries for 9 years after getting my PhD degree in Physics. While working as a full-time data scientist in climate risk analytics, I am pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and practicing investing in my spare time.

In 2022 – three years into the pandemic, I decided to create a blog that allows me to share my knowledge and thoughts on climate change, energy transition, technology breakthrough and investment. Climate Savvy is a place where I hope I could bridge the gap between complicated scientific or financial topics and our everyday life.

Over the years, I had the opportunities to work at university, national lab, hedge fund, non-profit organization and startup company. My main areas of expertise are in experimental physics, quant trading, climate risk analysis and energy forecasting.
